About Us
A leading independent publisher of creator-owned graphic novels and trades, Alterna Comics was created by president and publisher Peter Simeti on January 4th, 2007. Alterna publishes a variety of genres, including but not limited to: horror, sci-fi, suspense, humor, and fantasy/adventure.
In addition to print titles, Alterna Comics also has an expanding digitally published line of comics. Digital titles are available for download on Drivethrucomics.com, EagleOneMedia.com, and the Amazon Kindle.
In 2009, Robot Comics signed Alterna to a distribution deal that would help expand their readership with inclusion into the phone comics market. Alterna titles are now available on Google's Android market and on the iPhone through iTunes.
Alterna Comics titles are currently distributed through Diamond Comics Distributors,
Partners Book Distributors, Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Haven Distribution, and International Enterprises.
