An independent publisher of creator-owned graphic novels and trades, Alterna Comics was created by president and publisher Peter Simeti on January 4th, 2007. Alterna publishes a variety of genres, including but not limited to: horror, sci-fi, suspense, humor, and fantasy/adventure.

In addition to print titles, Alterna Comics also has an expanding digitally published line of comics. Digital titles are available for download on Drivethrucomics.com, EagleOneMedia.com, and the Amazon Kindle.

Alterna titles are now available on Google's Android market and on the iPhone through iTunes.
